Here We Grow! is a budding collection of stories, photo essays, and sound bites highlighting elements of Mother Mother’s love labors as an afrofuturist bush mama to raise her children in the wild at Wildseed, their family learning lab. Published every other month, Here We Grow! is where Mother Mother shares pieces of life drawn from the intimate, messy becomings of her slowly-emerging book project. The book is about the first 10 years of growing Wildseed, and Mother Mother is dancing her way into the words that will one day fill its pages. In Here We Grow! she brings parts of her writing process into view, and shines a light on the day-to-day chaos/beauty/love/hilarity that goes into building expansive, kinetic learning environments for her children. She also introduces parents, caregivers, and educators to Wildseed Brilliance offerings and services.
